GRT Clean AI Electrical Project – Scope of Work

      Project Overview

  – Currently the building is equipped with a pair of busducts 480v 200 Amp along both the North and South Wall, In Addition a 45kva Step Down Transformer is feeding a 240v/120v 200 Amp Subpanel. This all ties into a Siemens 480/277V 1200 Amp Switch Gear with 3 open bays for additional load handling. Castle Electric was brought in to perform the following tasks.

 

     Scope of Work

  – Install Drops from existing buss plugs on existing busducts. All drops to be flex cable with cord relief roughly 8ft from the floor. Breakdown for all drops to be listed (6 – 480v60Amp, 1 – 480v50Amp, 1 – 480v30Amp)

  – Install Two 480v 100 Amp Safety Switch Disconnects on the North Busduct, only one bus plug exists a second will need to be purchased. Hardpiped with EMT Conduit from Bus Duct to Disconnect. Due to possibility of water/cleaning agent from device, NEMA 3R Enclosures to be used.

  – Install 600 Amp 480v Switchgear with fuses into the Siemens 1200 Amp Cabinet. From Cabinet to 600 Amp Safety Switch Disconnect, Hard Pipe Rigid Conduit will be used. Ran roughly 8ft from the floor to prevent possible damage. Due to nature of products being used this will be a NEMA 3R enclosure. This Disconnect will be located on the South Wall aprox. 30ft from Switchgear.
